To get Cytress out to as many people as possible, we needed to make sure that it had a reasonable MSRP or retail price for the retail version! To do that, we had to make sure the game had a balance of both quality and scale moving forward, that’s why we decided to include only the necessary components of the game that bring the best out of cytress without inflating the game with stretch goals which we know will knock up the manufacturing and shipping costs, making it harder to enter the retail market. Addons are a great idea and as we can see a lot of interest from backers so are talking to our manufacturer about these possibilities.

The Cytress Travel pack adds 12 cards (2.5 x 3.5 inch) one for each faction that can be used in place of the faction boards for smaller play area.

You can also use the middle spread of the book as a character mat, with expanded art and slots for your lifepath! As we will be shipping Cytress to backers all over the world, it is not possible to include local sales taxes in the pledge as they differ from country to country. Local sales taxes will be charged in the pledge manager post-campaign. For example, if you are located in the UK or the EU, you will be required to pay roughly an additional 20-21% VAT in the pledge manager.

Yes, if the campaign hasn’t ended yet, you can adjust your pledge any time on Kickstarter before the campaign ends. If the campaign ended, you’ll be able to change your final order in our pledge manager where you’ll be able to edit your order or add more copies of either edition.

The Solo mode is played against a unique AI system, designed by Karl Lange. As the AI takes actions, it will ‘remember’ its past decisions, taking advantage of its locations on future turns. The AI has 5 levels of difficulty that players can compete against in a head to head competition for the most prestige.
